How to standardize inspections across multiple sites
A repeatable framework for templates, approvals, and reporting that scales globally.
1) Start with your highest-risk, highest-frequency workflows
Choose the inspection types that drive the most operational risk or the most volume. Standardizing those first creates immediate consistency and improves downstream reporting.
2) Define what “complete” looks like
Require consistent evidence: photos, required fields, pass/fail criteria, issue severity, and corrective actions. Consistent inputs are what make dashboards and audits reliable.
3) Separate field execution from governance
Configure roles so inspectors focus on capture, while supervisors and compliance owners handle reviews, approvals, and escalations. This protects data quality and accountability.
4) Roll out site-by-site, then replicate
Pilot at one or two sites, incorporate feedback, then replicate templates, permissions, and reporting to the next sites. This reduces change management friction while keeping standards intact.
